Forklift Operator (Sit-Down OR Reach Truck)
Brookshire, TX
$18.00 per Hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Sit-Down Forklifts and/or Reach Trucks to move, load, unload, and store materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload freight from trailers and dock areas
- Transport products, raw materials, and inventory to designated locations
- Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Verify outbound shipments against paperwork and shipping labels to ensure accuracy
- Apply transportation labels and assist with pallet wrapping and shrink wrapping as needed
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Identify damaged products, inventory discrepancies, and quality issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience operating Sit-Down Forklifts and/or Reach Trucks
- Experience loading, unloading, stocking, and order pulling in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced operation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified)
