What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual activity or security-related concerns and report findings according to established protocols.
- Support the implementation of access control procedures and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location, addressing questions or concerns as appropriate.
- Document all incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during assigned shifts in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to stay current on security-related procedures relevant to the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- X Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
