Join the Filer's Florist team! We are looking for a talented, dependable Floral Designer with experience in funeral and sympathy floral work.
What we are looking for
- Experience designing professional fresh floral arrangements
- Strong experience with funeral work, sympathy arrangements, and standing sprays
- Creative eye with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to take direction while also working independently
- Reliable, organized, and compassionate when working with grieving families
- Experience in wedding arrangements
- Ability to create arrangements in a variety of styles and price points
Responsibilites
- Design everyday, sympathy, funeral, wedding, and special-event arrangements
- Create casket sprays, standing sprays, wreaths, baskets, and other tributes
- Assist customers with selecting appropriate floral arrangements
- Processing flowers (when needed)
- Provide exceptional service to our customer and local funeral homes
- Answer phones (when needed)
Position Details
- Part-time, approximately 18-24 hours per week
- One week paid vacation after 1 year anniversary
