Maintenance Mechanic - Industrial
Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role requires hands-on experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, basic electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities on production equipment and facility systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, flow diagrams, and one-line drawings to diagnose equipment issues.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical systems using knowledge of voltage, amperage, resistance, and power concepts.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support lean manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
- Perform facility maintenance tasks including plumbing, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues.
- Assist with additional facility and production support tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Basic welding, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership and accountability.
- Experience supporting lean manufacturing initiatives is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Candidates with experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic, or Electro-Mechanical Technician are encouraged to apply.
