Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Test Automation Architect to lead and drive automation initiatives for a healthcare-focused enterprise. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in automation frameworks, embedded systems, cloud environments, and cross-functional team management. Candidates must be available to work onsite in Pleasanton, CA from Day 1.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 12+ years in API & UI automation using Selenium, Java, Rest Assured, JMeter
- 5+ years with TestNG or Playwright frameworks
- 5+ years as an Automation Architect with strong problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in device integration and embedded system testing
- Strong hands-on programming skills (Java – 10+ years)
- Experience leading onsite and offshore teams across manual and automation efforts
- 3+ years in functional testing, SIT, and formal verification (preferably SaMD products)
- Familiarity with Test agents, CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting build failures
- 3+ years working with iOS and Visual Studio (VS)
- Solid understanding of Git (including submodules)
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS
- Proficient in JIRA for test management and tracking
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or medical device domains
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and frameworks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
