Job DescriptionReal Estate Attorney
An established firm based in New York, New York with over 90 years in practice is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team. This role focuses on commercial real estate loan closings, bank lending transactions, and lender-side representation, working directly with banks and other financial institutions to close sophisticated commercial financing deals.

Qualifications:
-
3+ years of transactional real estate experience focused on loan and lending closings

Active admission to the New York State Bar

Demonstrated experience representing lenders in commercial real estate transactions

Strong understanding of mortgage lending, title review, and closing procedures

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:

Handle commercial real estate loan closings from inception through funding, representing lender clients

Review and negotiate loan documents, title commitments, surveys, and related transaction materials

Coordinate with borrowers, title companies, and other deal parties to facilitate timely closings

Advise bank and institutional lender clients on transactional risk and regulatory compliance

Manage multiple closings simultaneously in a fast-paced transactional environment
