Groundsman - Level II
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is responsible for all ground operations, such as clean up, greasing equipment, basic, routine maintenance in and around the plant.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

- Perform minor servicing and maintenance on plant equipment as needed.
- Inspect conveyors and processing plant; replace screens and guards.
- Cleaning and lubricating equipment.
- Shoveling aggregate and wash out.
- Perform minor servicing and maintenance on plant equipment as needed.
- Inspect conveyors and processing plant; replace screens and guards.
- Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as bob cat, skid steer, man lift, water truck, and haul truck.
- Assist in training less-experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing and repair of equipment to further their abilities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
\n
Education:GED or High School Diploma preferred
\n
Required Work Experience: Experience working in varying weather elements preferred.

- Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions.
- Highly dependable, ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to learn plant flow, plant operations to include conveyors and crushing equipment.
- Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Previous experience in a construction or quarry environment is preferred.
- This job requires shift work, callouts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekend and holiday work. Employees may have the work schedule adjusted on short notice.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face inorder to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
