Job Description

Job Description

At Trunk Tools, we’re the leading AI company revolutionizing construction—the second-largest industry on earth. With deep traction among Fortune 500 general contractors, we have raised $30M from top investors including Redpoint and Innovation Endeavors.

Our mission is to build the future of construction through intelligent automation. Construction is a $13+ trillion industry still operating primarily in analog—and we’re changing that by embedding AI directly into the jobsite.

Founded by builders and technologists (Stanford, MIT), our experienced team has delivered software used by 140,000+ field professionals, impacting millions of users and contributing to $10B+ in built projects. We're deeply rooted in construction, with many of our team coming from the field.

After years of developing the “brain” of construction, we are now deploying AI agents and workflows to automate critical tasks—beginning with intelligent document processing, Q&A capabilities and rapidly expanding across operational processes. We currently have 50+ employees, including 20 engineers, and have doubled our size in the last 12 months. We’re continuing to grow rapidly as we launch and scale multiple AI agents this year.

Implementation Managers work with all of our customers, including our largest, most complex customer implementations. They work closely with Product in the design and implementation of Trunk Tool’s products, which improve productivity for the deskless workforce across their organization. Implementation Managers oversee the entirety of the project including identifying project resources, tracking progress against success metrics, managing delivery risks, and keeping stakeholders informed. As an Implementation Manager you are responsible for project success and will drive the high-level strategy that enables our customers to have a smooth transition to Trunk Tools’ products.

Implementation Managers are customer-centric, master influencers, and technologically fluent. They know how to get the right people and resources in the room to deliver. In addition to impacting customers through project oversight, we are looking for a strategic thinker who is interested in improving processes and pursuing initiatives to help our team continually grow and provide the best services to customers. This position reports directly to the Manager, Implementation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Ops teams to deliver a smooth customer onboarding experience.

  • Execute established implementation and delivery processes and contribute suggestions for minor improvements or refinements.

  • Collaborate on the development and maintenance of internal and client-facing documentation, especially around product usage and known limitations.

  • Communicate customer feedback to Sales and Product for improved onboarding and training processes.

  • Help maintain key implementation metrics by ensuring data is consistently entered and reported accurately.

  • Participate in post go-live activities such as check-ins and usage analysis in collaboration with senior team members.

  • Support outreach and engagement initiatives including webinars and virtual events, with guidance from the team.

  • Collaborate with senior Implementation Managers and leadership on standardizing processes and capturing Voice of the Customer insights.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in implementation, project management, or customer-facing delivery roles.

  • Familiarity with managing customer projects and/or working within cross-functional implementation teams.

  • Comfortable communicating with managers and power users, with support when engaging executive stakeholders.

  • A collaborative team member who thrives in environments with clearly defined goals and processes.

  • Able to take initiative and prioritize tasks with moderate supervision.

  • Demonstrates a proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow through hands-on experience.

  • Shares the company’s values of empathy, continuous improvement, and innovation in technology for the built world.
