Tax Director - Sales & Use/Indirect
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Director of Sales & Use Tax/Indirect to join a large corporation headquartered here in Indianapolis. This role will report to the VP of Tax and assist with indirect tax. There are excellent opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns
- Maintain the Sales and Use Tax calendar
- Assist in updating sales and use tax charts
- Reconcile sales/use tax payments to GL Accounts
- Resolve tax notices sent by local taxing authorities
- Various related duties as needed

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field (Masters in tax and/or CPA preferred)
- 7+ years of experience with sales & use tax
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
