Job DescriptionQuality Assurance Lead: Rochelle, IllinoisOur customer in Rochelle, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Quality Assurance Leads to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and product quality by implementing and maintaining quality control programs across the facility.Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Lead:
- Monitor and enforce GMP compliance daily, including corrective actions and reports
- Perform line inspections and maintain accurate quality records
- Collaborate across departments to address food safety concerns and drive improvement
- Assist in non-conformance investigations and follow-ups
- Conduct environmental monitoring swabs (allergen, ATP, etc.)
- Support PCQI and SQF compliance efforts and internal audits
Quality Assurance LeadRequirements and Qualifications:
- Background in Food Science or relevant experience in food manufacturing
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work history
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts as needed
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Experience in quality control and working knowledge of GMPs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Comfortable working in production environments; prior production experience is a plus
Pay for Quality Assurance Lead: Starting at $21-23/hour.Quality Assurance LeadBenefits:
