Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 9 Months

Position Overview

The HR Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for gathering, structuring, analyzing, and presenting workforce data to support Talent Analytics and enterprise HR reporting initiatives.

This role partners primarily with Human Resources and cross-functional business teams to develop automated reporting solutions, dashboards, and data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making and support operational needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with HR systems, and the ability to translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & Reporting

  • Gather, structure, and analyze HR data from multiple systems and sources

  • Develop accurate, reliable, and cross-validated reports for research, audits, and troubleshooting

  • Design and maintain dashboards and periodic HR metrics reports

  • Ensure secure handling and distribution of data in compliance with privacy policies

Dashboard & Visualization Development

  • Design, build, and manage interactive dashboards that provide leadership visibility into workforce metrics

  • Create data visualizations and presentations to support executive reporting

  • Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and data consistency

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Partner with HR teams and business units to understand reporting requirements

  • Collaborate with technical teams to define user and technical specifications

  • Provide recommendations based on workforce trends and data insights

Data Quality & Process Improvement

  • Identify data gaps and inconsistencies; recommend corrective solutions

  • Research and troubleshoot data issues to ensure integrity and reliability

  • Enhance analytics capabilities by exploring and adopting new tools and technologies

  • Continuously improve reporting processes and governance standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field

  • Experience working with HR systems such as PeopleSoft and Workforce Software

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and data visualizations

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience handling confidential HR data with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Talent Analytics or Workforce Planning

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms)

  • Knowledge of HR compliance and data privacy best practices
