Job Description
This role supports day-to-day manufacturing operations by preparing, inspecting, and packaging plastic parts and products while maintaining quality standards and meeting production goals in a loud, non–temperature-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload parts and products onto pallets in a safe and organized manner.
- Prepare parts and products for cutting to appropriate measurements according to production specifications.
- Prepare parts and products to be shipped for powder coating, ensuring correct identification and handling.
- Inspect parts and products visually to verify quality and conformance to standards.
- Perform general production, packing, and packaging tasks as assigned.
- Follow established quality control processes throughout the facility to maintain consistent product quality.
- Meet production deadlines and goals by working efficiently and maintaining steady output.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, including palletizing and moving products as needed.
- Report issues, defects, or problems with production promptly to the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
Essential Skills
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Experience with general production tasks such as packing, packaging, and material handling.
- Ability to perform visual inspection and basic quality control checks.
- Ability to palletize and handle materials safely and efficiently.
- Comfort working in a loud, non–temperature-controlled plastic manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and quality standards.
- Reliability and consistency in meeting production deadlines and goals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in general labor roles within a production or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with basic inspection processes and visual quality checks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with production teams and supervisors.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to established manufacturing and quality procedures.

Work Environment

Work involves standing, moving materials, palletizing, and performing general production, packing, and inspection tasks without heavy lifting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
