Our location in Pembroke, NC has an opening for a Maintenance Clerk.

Your Day to Day

• Assures the availability of parts in a cost-effective manner.
• Maintains inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units.
• Inputs maintenance information into the computerized system daily.
• May act as a point of contact with vendors to order, receive and ensure payment for goods and services.
• Prepares purchase orders for management approval, including assignment of general ledger codes.
• Receives and dispenses parts to mechanics according to policy and local operating procedures.
• Reviews purchase orders with accounting to ensure accuracy and proper payment of invoices.
• Produces various productivity and usage reports for management review.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures; participates with the team to achieve safety goals
• Assures parts organization and inventory.
• Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s).
• Adheres to PPE requirements as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.
• Must be able to understand and follow written instructions.
• Must understand basic mathematical concepts.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft office

Required

• Must be able to stoop, kneel or bend.
• Employee must be able to lift 50 pounds and is required to ask for assistance if limit is exceeded.
• Must be able to work in a food allergens environment.
• Working environment provides exposure to environmental changes (heat, cold, dampness, and chemicals). Employee must be able to sustain these changes throughout the shift.
