Job DescriptionKelly Services is seeking a dedicated Onsite Maintenance Technician for a facility in Brown Deer, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Job Title: Onsite Maintenance Technician
Location: Brown Deer, WI
Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
Shift: Thursday–Monday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and electronic repairs on all equipment, including conveyor systems, printers, and sorting machines.
- Respond urgently to equipment breakdowns and emergency situations.
- Complete preventative maintenance according to TQM and vendor standards.
- Escalate serious equipment issues to the Lead Technician as appropriate.
- Stay up-to-date by reviewing and utilizing vendor technical manuals and updates on equipment modifications.
- Mentor and assist other site technicians as needed.
- Use inventory, PM schedule, and work order systems; maintain spare parts and supply inventory.
- Trouble-shoot and assess equipment problems, executing repairs quickly and effectively.
- Perform all additional assigned duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with mechanical and electronic maintenance (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work the Thursday–Monday second shift.
