General Warehouse Onsite Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Onsite Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and compliance with company standards. This role involves direct supervision of warehouse associates, coordination with client leadership, and hands-on support to maintain efficient workflows and meet operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support warehouse associates during daily operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Monitor productivity and performance, providing coaching and corrective action as needed.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed, including PPE compliance and incident reporting.
- Communicate regularly with client leadership to align on staffing needs, production goals, and operational updates.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new associates, ensuring they understand job expectations and site policies.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and shift reports.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Support staffing adjustments and shift planning to meet fluctuating volume demands.
- Promote a positive work environment and team culture focused on accountability and results.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in logistics or safety preferred.
- 2+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
