We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Liquor Store Cashier / Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a liquor store and strong knowledge of liquor brands and bottle sizes. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with product selection
- Operate the MacBook-based POS register to process sales accurately
- Answer store phones and assist customers with questions or orders
- Manage and prepare Uber and online orders for pickup or delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment
- Restock shelves and merchandise products as needed
- Use a small ladder when necessary to stock or retrieve products
- Assist with receiving inventory and lifting cases up to 50 lbs
- Follow all store policies regarding age verification and alcohol sales
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of liquor store experience required
- Knowledge of liquor brands, bottle sizes, and popular products
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Comfortable using computers and POS systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a small ladder
- Strong attention to cleanliness and store presentation
- Clean background check required (no theft-related offenses)
