We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeling Analyst/ Tableau Developer to join our analytics team and support the creation of a Model Performance Monitoring (MPM) reporting system. This position combines business analysis, data modeling, and advanced data visualization, requiring strong collaboration with both business and technical teams to design and deliver scalable analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical reporting solutions.
  • Design and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and database structures, including indexes and user authorization settings.
  • Develop, enhance, and publish interactive Tableau dashboards and MPM reports to monitor model accuracy, performance, and key metrics.
  • Source, transform, and validate data from multiple systems using Tableau Desktop, Prep, and Server.
  • Apply best practices in data visualization and storytelling to communicate insights effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews, use case assessments, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and dashboard performance.
  • Produce comprehensive documentation such as data flow diagrams, user guides, and presentation materials.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and quality in deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development experience, including enterprise-level dashboard design and deployment.
  • Proven expertise with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server in large-scale environments.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database concepts, and SQL development.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, perform analysis, and deliver high-quality visual solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and documentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, or machine learning concepts.
  • This hybrid position requires the ability to work effectively from a home office — even in an environment with moderate background noise.
    Hybrid, DMV preferred: This role is based in the Washington, D.C.–Maryland–Virginia (DMV) area and requires 2–3 days per week onsite. Local candidates are strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, transformation, or automation.
  • Experience deploying or managing Tableau platforms in AWS or other cloud environments.
  • Advanced Tableau certifications or an active Tableau Public portfolio showcasing visualization capabilities.

Pay Range$60—$80 USD
