Hana Engineers and Consultants, LLC is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Control Specialist to support the effective delivery of the capital infrastructure program through monitoring project scope, budget, and schedule performance during planning, design and construction.

Duty Location(s): Hybrid position working a minimum of three days per week at 3800 Arco Drive, Charlotte, NC 28273, and available to be on-site at CLT Airport for construction progress meetings with the owner and contractor.

Core Roles/Responsibilities:

· Attend bi-monthly Design and Construction Progress meetings.

· Verifies project team complies with Owner Project Controls processes, procedures, templates, and utilizing the Program Management Information System (PMIS) as required.

· Assists with defining project risks, escalates project risks when required, and supports project teams to create and implement mitigation plans.

· Prepares reports and performance dashboards for a variety of project controls, metrics, analyzes data and creates and/or participates in client presentations.

· Reviews and approve monthly invoices and pay applications. PCS responsible for verifying required supporting documentation is included.

· Maintains Program and Contract Contingency Trackers and potential change logs.

· Supports the Change Order process by facilitating all owner-required procurement and change management processes.

· Cost Management Support including processing budget changes and updating cash flow forecasts.

· Track contract actuals, variances from planned and contract encumbrance balance.

· Reviews and approves contractor weekly and monthly project control reports for compliance with contract.

· Coordinates and verifies the GIS Construction Phasing and Gate Management Dashboard accurately for assigned construction packages.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction management and/or project controls

· Proficiency with MS Office tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Experience with Trimble Unity Construct (e-Builder) or similar project management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working as client's PM/CM agent (e.g., providing program management/construction management services)

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Transportation Capital Infrastructure construction, Aviation experience is a plus.

Starting pay = $95,000 - $115,000, depending on experience.
