Job Summary
The Decision Support Administrator – Advanced supports business intelligence and decision-support initiatives by assisting users with data querying, reporting, and analytical tools. This role focuses on optimizing report performance, supporting OLAP environments, maintaining metadata integrity, and ensuring secure, reliable access to enterprise data systems. The position works remotely and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
General Responsibilities

Support the user community in utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools to query databases and generate reports.

Assist users with OLAP tools, data extraction, and report development.

Review and optimize queries for performance and efficiency.

Participate in the design, development, and enhancement of reports and dashboards.

Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.

Monitor system usage and batch queries to ensure performance, interoperability, and security.

Support upgrades and maintenance of enterprise-wide reporting and analytics tools.

Maintain metadata coordination and support production reporting systems.

Apply data modeling, process modeling, and data architecture methodologies to support analytics solutions.

Education & Experience Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; or

Equivalent professional experience, including:

Minimum of 7 years of IT or analytics experience, with at least:

5 years supporting business intelligence tools and systems, or
-
5 years performing economic, statistical, or workforce data analysis.
