Job Description

• One of our clients is seeking an experienced SAP Ariba B2B Integration / EDI Specialist with 10+ years of experience leading supplier onboarding and integration initiatives in large-scale procurement and supply chain environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC), SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), SAP S/4HANA, and extensive hands-on experience delivering complex supplier integration projects involving EDI and B2B transactions.
• This role will be responsible for managing multiple supplier onboarding and integration projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional business and technical teams, and ensuring timely and successful delivery of EDI implementations. The candidate should possess strong project leadership skills, hands-on testing capabilities, and the ability to proactively identify and escalate risks and issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end supplier integration and onboarding projects using SAP Ariba SCC and SAP Ariba CIG.

• Manage multiple supplier implementation projects concurrently while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

• Act as the primary liaison between suppliers, business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, EDI partners, and technical integration teams.

• Design, coordinate, and support B2B/EDI integrations between SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, and supplier systems.

• Drive supplier connectivity through Ariba Network, SCC, CIG, and EDI channels.

• Work closely with onshore and offshore EDI teams to plan, execute, and monitor integration activities.

• Facilitate project status meetings, track milestones, identify risks, and escalate issues proactively to leadership.

• Coordinate mapping, testing, validation, and production deployment activities for supplier integrations.

• Support integration troubleshooting, defect resolution, and root cause analysis.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, onboarding plans, integration specifications, testing scripts, and deployment plans.

• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, logistics, and IT teams to ensure business requirements are successfully implemented.

• Ensure adherence to integration standards, governance processes, and project delivery methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in SAP integration, EDI, and supplier onboarding projects.

Strong hands-on experience with:

• SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC)
• SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)
• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP Ariba Network
• Proven experience leading supplier-intensive B2B integration projects.
• Extensive knowledge of EDI transaction sets, including:
• EDI 830 – Planning Schedule
• EDI 850 – Purchase Order
• EDI 855 – Purchase Order Acknowledgment
• EDI 856 – Advance Ship Notice (ASN)
• EDI 810 – Invoice
• EDI 820 – Payment/Remittance
• EDI 997 / Functional Acknowledgment
• Other X12 and EDIFACT transaction standards as applicable
• Experience with EDI mapping, validation, testing, and production support.
• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P), supply chain, and supplier collaboration processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and supplier onboarding activities simultaneously.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams, including offshore delivery models.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, CPI, or other middleware platforms.
• Familiarity with automotive, manufacturing, retail, or high-volume supplier ecosystems.
• Experience with supplier enablement and large-scale onboarding programs.
• PMP, SAP Ariba, or integration-related certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
