Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.

Develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each resident’s needs and functional abilities

Use various therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to improve a resident's ability to perform daily activities.

Ensure that the therapy plan aligns with the resident’s overall care plan.

Monitor and document the progress of residents throughout therapy sessions.

Provide education to residents' families and caregivers about techniques to support the resident’s rehabilitation and safety at home.

Ensure that all treatments and interventions adhere to established safety protocols and professional standards.
Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements:

Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Pennsylvania
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
-
Previous experience in a SNF or geriatric setting is preferred.

Ability to create individualized treatment plans.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
