Preferred qualifications and requirements:
- Experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional or similar support role
- Ability to work 1:1 with students, especially those with autism, or provide general classroom support
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability and willingness to work on a per diem, as-needed basis
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct support to students during instructional and non-instructional times
- Assisting lead teachers with classroom activities, behavioral support, and individualized plans
- Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic needs in a compassionate and constructive manner
- Following established protocols to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
