A rapidly growing general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion, with proven experience overseeing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, clients, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage commercial and general construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Take overall responsibility for project budgets, schedules, contracts, and successful delivery.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, architects, engineers, and internal project teams.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving potential delays.
- Monitor project costs, commitments, billing, and overall financial performance.
- Lead regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with owners, clients, design teams, and trade partners.
- Identify project risks and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.
- Manage the change order process and assist with contract administration.
- Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Support project closeout, punch list completion, final documentation, and turnover.

Requirements
\n

- 5+ years of construction project management experience, ideally within commercial or general construction.
- Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, contracts, budgets, and cost control.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficiency with construction project management and scheduling software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
