About the Role
We’re seeking compassionate, reliable, and patient Support Staff to assist adults receiving Supported Living Services (SLS) and Independent Living Services(ILS)
This is a Support staff and mentoring role that blends direct assistance with gentle guidance and encouragement.
You’ll help clients stay organized, follow daily routines, and engage in healthy, meaningful activities—whether they live independently or with family.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance with daily living tasks (e.g., cooking, cleaning, organizing, errands)
- Support clients in managing schedules, appointments, and medication reminders
- Encourage healthy routines, hygiene, and emotional wellness
- Accompany clients to community outings, stores, or appointments
- Offer companionship and positive behavioral support
- Complete brief session notes and communicate updates to supervisors
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Experience working with adults with developmental or mental health disabilities preferred (training provided)
- Comfortable providing direct, hands-on support in home or community settings
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (mileage reimbursed)
- Must pass a background check (LiveScan)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
