Job DescriptionBenefits Implementation & Operations Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional for our client in Chicago supporting benefits implementation and ongoing operations. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition for new vendors and delivering a seamless experience for employees.
Key Responsibilities:

Play an integral role in onboarding new benefits vendors, ensuring they go live smoothly and successfully.

Support all aspects of end-to-end implementation, including contracting, system integration, internal communications, and change management.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to drive efficient, compliant, and effective program rollouts.

Provide timely and accurate support for day-to-day benefits operations, maintaining a high level of precision and responsiveness.

Guide and support employees throughout the change management process, ensuring clarity and a positive experience.

Develop and maintain comprehensive policies, procedures, and communications to support effective plan administration.

Maintain audit-ready documentation and assist with regulatory compliance and reporting.

Work closely with the HRIS team to ensure system data accuracy and correct eligibility logic.

Serve as a key liaison with benefits vendors to quickly resolve issues and uphold plan integrity.
Technical skills: MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills and experience pulling, analyzing, and visualizing data) Workday
Requirements:

4-5 years of experience

Thorough knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA, Section 125, HSA and ACA requirements

Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
