Assistant General Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • A strong emphasis on providing an exceptional customer service experience.
  • The ability to communicate effectively, promoting our monthly memberships.
  • The ability to present, promote and sell carwash memberships.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • The ability to help train and develop new employees.
  • The ability to motivate and coach your team as needed.
  • The ability to prioritize responsibilities and multitask.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment and individually.
  • Learn to guide cars safely into the car wash tunnel, learn the operations of the tunnel and continue to practice tunnel safety.
  • Strong emphasis on growing sales volume and site profitability, as well as driving business results.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the car wash, including landscaping.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are being followed for guests and staff.
  • Continue to learn and maintain an understanding of car wash equipment; troubleshooting and identifying maintenance issues, perform basic maintenance, and work with the maintenance teams to resolve any issues.
  • Knowledge of all chemicals and the ability to make chemical transfers safely.
  • Demonstrate a high level of guest satisfaction by learning to handle any inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
  • Strong emphasis on sales, customer satisfaction and membership retention.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Any duties assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements:

  • OPEN AVAILABILITY is REQUIRED. Including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of business management practices.
  • 2 years of management or leadership experience is REQUIRED.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills; including active listening and being solution-oriented.
  • Strong work ethic and a professional attitude.
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • The ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Mechanically Inclined.
  • Travel between locations for training and developmental purposes.
  • The ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
