Pioneer Energy is seeking a Shop Hand to join its team in Lakewood, CO. Pioneer Energy develops and manufactures proprietary equipment that solves gas processing challenges on the oilfield by developing and deploying new, ground-up technology.
Pioneer Energy focuses on ESG by addressing complex challenges in the oil and gas industry. It develops and introduces cutting-edge technologies to allow responsible, economical, and reliable operation of both renewable technologies and traditional hydrocarbon extractions. By leveraging creative solutions in both scale and approach, Pioneer Energy solves problems neglected by traditional approaches.
The production team is a small, highly skilled, multi-trade team in welding, electrical, and HVAC. It is seeking a Shop Hand to grow with the organization as we grow with the industry.
Required Duties
· General Labor around the Shop.
· Loading and unloading with a Forklift
· Operation of a crane
· Assisting welders and technicians in the Shop.
· Operation of a bandsaw, power tools, and hand tools.
· Clean up machines and work areas.
· Read a tape measure
Qualifications and Requirements
· Basic reading and math skills; some computer skills may be required.
· High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promotes a safe work environment.
· Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
· Organized
· Reliable and dependable
· Understand a P&ID and fabrication drawings a plus.
· Mig welding a plus.
· EPA refrigeration cert a plus.
Physical demands and abilities
· Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.
· Have a good sense of balance
· Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
· Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on the season.
