Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations for a fully onsite team in Pennsauken, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can provide steady coverage, build trust with employees and managers, and handle a broad range of HR activities with professionalism and discretion. The person in this role will contribute across employee support, onboarding, benefits coordination, and HR administration while helping maintain efficient and compliant processes.
Responsibilities:
• Guide employees and supervisors on workplace concerns, policies, and employee relations matters while promoting consistent HR practices.
• Manage onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, orientation coordination, and timely completion of pre-employment requirements.
• Administer day-to-day HR records and documentation, ensuring personnel information is accurate, organized, and up to date.
• Support benefits-related processes by answering employee questions, assisting with enrollments, and coordinating with internal or external contacts as needed.
• Maintain and update information within HRIS and related systems to help ensure reporting accuracy and smooth HR operations.
• Partner with leadership and staff to address HR issues with sound judgment, confidentiality, and a service-oriented approach.
• Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office to support departmental needs and workforce tracking.
• Assist with compliance-related activities such as background screening, drug testing coordination, and other employment documentation requirements.• Previous experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.
• Working knowledge of employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and benefits coordination.
• Experience using HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of an organization.
• High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Pennsauken, New Jersey, on a Monday through Friday schedule.
• Dependable commitment to remain engaged for the full length of the assignment.
