Position Overview
QuesTek Innovations LLC, a leading innovator in Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME), is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to support our expanding operations. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is ideal for a skilled professional with corporate IT experience, project management proficiency, and strong expertise in network and security. The IT Analyst will play a critical role in evaluating systems, resolving technical challenges, and implementing IT solutions that drive business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the business in overseeing IT operations and projects.
- Manage and support IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and provide technical support to end users.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.
- Participate in IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
- Support IT compliance efforts and maintain documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify IT needs and deliver solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or 5+ years of corporate IT experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs) and IT security principles.
- Experience with IT project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT compliance and best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or ITIL are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
- Experience with enterprise applications and systems administration.
- Communication: Exceptional networking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, results-driven, and willing to “roll up your sleeves” to achieve organizational objectives.
