Job DescriptionJob Opportunity: Security Guard (Guard Card Required)
A Homeowners Association located in Century City is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard to join their in-house security team. This position is being created to relieve the Manager of certain responsibilities, allowing them to focus on overall management.
Position Details:
Employment Type: Direct hire by the Homeowners Association (No contract security company)
Compensation: $25 - $27 per hour to start
Benefits: 100% medical & dental paid
Schedule: Flexible – Must be available weekends if needed
Options include:
Monday – Friday
Friday/Saturday
Sunday/Monday
Shift times:
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise 2-3 security guards on day or graveyard shifts
Control access to the property
Log all visitors to the property on the computer
Screen visitors for Residents and Association Employees
Communicate openly, honestly, and responsively with residents and staff
Monitor entrances and exits
Operate gates and monitor CCTV systems
Prepare detailed logs and incident reports
Observe and report suspicious activity or incidents promptly
Ensure the safety of Residents, Guests, Employees, and others on the property
Monitor and respond appropriately to Fire Alarm and Security Alarm Panels
Qualifications:
Must have a valid guard card (no firearms required)
Security management experience preferred
Mature, responsible, and professional demeanor
