RemX is seeking a Field Service Engineer service high-precision automation equipment used in the packaging industry. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with strong mechanical and electrical skills, and extensive experience traveling both nationally and internationally for work. They possess strong problem-solving abilities and can handle complex situations while maintaining high standards of customer service and system reliability.

Note: This position requires 60-80% travel nationally and sometimes internationally

The Position

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs on automated industrial machinery and capital-equipment systems
• 3+ years of field service or industrial maintenance experience working with automated machinery or complex mechanical/electrical systems
• Strong mechanical and electrical background with the ability to read schematics and perform PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Travel 75% – 80% across the U.S. and Canada, with occasional international travel for installs and service support
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver accurate service documentation and effective issue resolution
• Train operators and maintenance teams on proper machine use, safety, and preventive maintenance
