The Opportunity

A well-established and growing law firm in downtown Portland is actively seeking an experienced Paralegal with a background in personal injury to join their team.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting attorneys throughout the lifecycle of personal injury cases. You'll be entrusted with substantive legal work and have a direct impact on case progression and client outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and wants to take on meaningful, hands-on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize case files to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Draft correspondence, including letters, emails, and other client-facing communications
  • Request, review, and summarize medical records and billing documentation
  • Track liens and manage related documentation
  • Prepare comprehensive settlement demand packages for insurance carriers
  • Support attorneys with case management and day-to-day litigation tasks
  • Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties

Qualifications

  • Prior personal injury experience required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
