Medical Billing Specialist Needed for Full-Time Opportunity

Job Summary:

Sunnyside Care Center, a leading sub-acute rehabilitation and long-term care facility, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our offsite business office location in Central Square, New York. As a key member of our dynamic medical billing team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our group of skilled nursing facilities across New York State.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately bill Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance claims

• Review EOBs, perform credit balance analysis, generate billing reports, and reconcile claim denials

• Post payments and work with insurance companies and team members remotely via phone and internet

• Utilize Excel data entry skills to maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Medical billing experience

• Excel data entry skills

• Understanding of insurance benefits

• Ability to sit at a desk and be on the phone for extended periods

• Must work on-site
