Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager at the Journey Level to support the National Park Service (NPS) Information Resources Directorate and National Information Services Center (NISC). This role involves providing comprehensive project management oversight for enterprise data management services and ensuring effective execution of technical objectives within scope, timeline, and budget. This is a full-time position contingent upon contract award, with the potential for remote work upon approval.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management Duties:

  • Provide full life cycle management of IT projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.

  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of data management tasks and services.

  • Track and report on project task status, milestones, and level of effort.

  • Deliver documentation and reporting support for technical and operational activities.

  • Provide strategic input on technical architecture, process optimization, and emerging technologies.

  • Oversee database administration support and end-user service delivery.

  • Coordinate security configurations, risk mitigation, and change management processes.

  • Develop and maintain contract deliverables such as the Contract Management Plan, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), and Quality Control Plan (QCP).

  • Facilitate collaboration across internal and external stakeholders in alignment with agile methodologies.

  • Ensure all project work aligns with compliance and performance requirements of the NPS and broader federal guidelines.

Essential Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT or data-centric projects of similar scope and complexity.

  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Experience with project documentation, process development, and agile or hybrid project methodologies.

  • Prior work managing technical teams and coordinating with federal agencies is strongly preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline required.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise data systems, project management frameworks, and risk management.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations in a government environment.

  • Proficiency in common project management tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence).
