We are partnered with a law firm seeking a skilled Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support their business-focused legal practice. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in real estate law, estate planning, trust and probate administration, and business succession planning. This role requires proficiency in income tax rules and accounting concepts, along with strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with real estate law and estate planning matters.

Support trust and probate administration processes.

Help with business succession planning documentation.

Apply knowledge of income tax rules and accounting principles in casework.

Prepare and manage legal documents and correspondence.

Maintain case files and assist with billing and time tracking.

Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients to ensure effective case management.

Manage financial transactions related to client matters, including accounting and tax considerations.

Engage in extensive client contact and project management activities.
Qualifications:

Experienced Paralegal/legal assistant in business and real estate transactions, estate planning, and probate administration.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Strong understanding of income tax regulations and accounting concepts.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a business-focused legal environment.

Comfortable working with a supportive, goal-oriented team.
Compensation:
-
Salary is dependent on experience (DOE), typically ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates.
