About You:
Our ideal candidate is a self motivated self-starter who is able to work under guided supervision to complete time sensitive tasks. You are an avid problem solver adept at debugging technical systems and products, and enjoy hands-on work. You are competent and likable. You thrive working directly with customers at their sites on a daily basis. You are driven to help people achieve their goals through providing excellent service. You enjoy traveling to customer sites on the West Coast.
Essential Functions:
- Be an enthusiastic and credible guide to Indicate’s content
- Have outstanding customer service skills
- Confidently apply analysis, new/customized approaches, and complex problem solving requiring knowledge of calibration, and preventative maintenance
- Participate collegially as a team player
- Evaluate customer requirements
- Assist in connecting customer needs with Indicate's offerings
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience in service oriented activities
- Ability to carefully handle and manipulate data
- Strong familiarity with MS Windows, MS Office applications and basic file structures
- Aptitude for retention and communication of detailed product knowledge
- Excellent written, verbal, and nonverbal interpersonal and communication skills
- Maturity and safe work habits in an industrial environment
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with excellent driving record
- Ability to travel extensively within the West Coast
- Ability to work overtime
Preferences:
- Experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or equivalent, use of CAD systems, computer programming
- Background in one or more technical disciplines - metrology, quality control, additive manufacturing, machining
- Familiarity with one or more types of equipment - CMM's, machine tools
