Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides essential support in delivering individualized behavioral interventions for children and adolescents. Working primarily in home-based, school-based, and clinic-based settings, the RBT implements treatment plans under various levels of supervision to help clients achieve meaningful progress in their behavioral goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavior assessments to identify client needs
- Collect and analyze behavioral data systematically
- Implement intervention plans as designed by supervisors
- Train clients using evidence-based behavioral techniques
- Document session activities and client progress accurately
- Make detailed behavioral observations during sessions
- Collaborate effectively with RBT supervisors and interdisciplinary teams
- Prepare progress reports summarizing client developments
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in applied behavior analysis
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
