Job Description
Auto Body Technician to perform all aspects from bare metal to finished product.
Hourly Rate will be based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan the repair work what is necessary.
- Uses various tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
- Remove damaged sections of vehicles and replace them with new.
- Ensures all work has been executed correctly by inspecting vehicles after repair.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
Required Skills:
- Ability to keep track of materials and request materials when needed.
- Ability to work with other repairers within shop.
- Thoroughly understand methods and procedures to repair vehicles.
- Thoroughly understand how to use tools required for the trades.
Physical Requirements:
- You must supply your own general hand tools.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and safety inspections.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational/technical school preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be working or worked in a body shop for min. 2 years
