Our firm is growing, and we’re looking for an empathic, experienced Personal Injury attorney to help clients pursue justice and secure fair compensation for their injuries. In this role, you will manage both pre-litigation and litigation matters, supported by a team of highly skilled legal professionals. Compensation:
$125,000 - $150,000 per year commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or trial
- Develop and execute case strategies designed to maximize client recovery
- Regularly consult with clients, adjusters, experts, and other parties as needed to effectively move cases forward to settlement
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances (virtual and in-person)
- Argue motions and represent clients at hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation (e.g., insurance policies, lien language, settlement releases)
- Maintain consistent, proactive communication with clients
- Collaborate closely with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case progression
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado Bar Association
- 3-5 years of experience representing clients in a law firm
- Prior litigation experience (personal injury preferred)
- Trial experience is a plus
- Medical Malpractice experience is a plus
- Strong motion practice, research, and writing skills
- Experience taking or defending depositions preferred
- Ability to independently manage a Pre-Litigation/Litigation caseload
