What’s a typical day as a Video Editor? You’ll be:

  • Editing compelling video content to elevate the brand (70% of the time).
  • Assisting in-studio and in-field video shoots, running grip and operating video equipment (20% of the time).
  • Contributing to studio operations and maintaining the video library by curating, cutting, and cataloging clips (10% of the time).
  • Collaborating with internal clients, stakeholders, and external agency partners throughout the editing process.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Possess 5-7 years of professional video editing experience and a portfolio/demo reel showcasing your work.
  • Hold a four-year University Degree (or equivalent experience) in editing, motion graphics, or videography.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Are familiar with professional cinema camera equipment (Sony, Canon, Panasonic, RED) and various file formats, codecs, and workflows.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Can physically handle a variety of environments (indoors and outdoors), lift and carry gear up to 50 lbs, and work in all weather conditions.
  • Are proficient in Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic audio editing.
  • Thrive in fast-paced settings, able to self-start and collaborate as needed, and can travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Stand out with skills in motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, experience with heavy equipment, video shoots in relevant industries, and corporate brand editing.
