The Dog Stop® - Long Hill is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager with employee management, retail, and customer service experience. Knowledge of the dog care industry and a history of handling dogs is a plus but not required provided the candidate is capable of quickly learning the ins and outs of our services and our complete product line.

Ideal Candidate - will have a positive attitude, outgoing personality, dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our clientele, and, of course, a love of dogs.

Responsibilities - will include but are not limited to:

· Staff Management (hiring, firing, scheduling, guidance, accountability, etc.)

· Superb Customer Service/Developing Customer Relationships

· Providing Client Tours

· Inventory Management (ordering, merchandising, distributor relations)

· Budgeting (Supplies, Payroll, Utilities, etc.)

· Dog Care and Safety

· Manage and respond to App Requests and Internet Inquiries

· Creating plans to meet all goals (retail sales, budget, etc.) set by Owners

· Management of Client Database and Corresponding Filing
