QED Systems, LLC is currently recruiting a Senior Engineer, to join our team at Joint Base Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst (JBDML), NJ in support of our C5ISR Center HQ Operations Support contract.

Duties:

  • Function as the C5ISR’s Property Team subject matter expert for the Center’s Property Management system.
  • Maintain mobile computer/barcode scanner tool; configure new scanners for inventory use.
  • Install & maintain property management software, deploying scanners with the correct serial number file required for scanner functionality, programming user interface, and other start up tasks for those units at Lakehurst and Fort Dix Range 1.
  • Troubleshoot & resolve all scanner issues as required, either on-site or remotely.
  • Perform data audits multiple times daily, remediating anomalies where applicable to ensure data integrity property system.
  • Perform analytics and generate/disseminate reports of C5ISR property data against respective GCSS-Army data, remediating proprietary data where applicable and forwarding said reports to Property Team Personnel for further analysis and remediation of GCSS-Army data.
  • Maintain the Operations Database archive and retrieve archived asset, location, and chain-of-custody data to disseminate to applicable personnel on an as needed basis.
  • Facilitate the bi-directional data transfer between APG & Lakehurst Buildings of Security Guard scanner data (via MS SharePoint) and property system as needed to document asset traffic in/out of C5ISR SCIFs for accurate asset tracking and SCIF accreditation compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience supporting large technical projects required.
  • Experience with electronic design and implementation.
  • Experience with DoD developmental and operational testing policies, processes, and procedures required.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline with twelve (12) years’ experience managing DoD contracts required.
  • Master’s degree in business or technical discipline, may substitute two (2) years or experience.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Work Environment:

This position will be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, government offices, military bases and depots, and/or warehouse/maintenance shops.

  • Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $175,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for fully qualified candidates for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
