We are seeking a Furniture Design Engineer with experience in 3D CAD design, solid wood furniture, CNC programming, and millwork manufacturing. The ideal candidate will create 3D furniture models, develop CNC programs, set up CNC machinery, and work closely with production teams to take projects from design through manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities\n

- Create detailed 3D CAD models and drawings for furniture components.
- Design solid wood furniture such as chairs, stools, tables, and tabletops.
- Develop CNC programs and machine code for different CNC machines.
- Set up CNC machines, jigs, and molds.
- Work with machine operators to ensure accurate production.
- Support millwork and woodworking operations.
- Take field measurements and verify drawing accuracy.
- Coordinate with customers and production teams throughout the design and manufacturing process.

Required Skills\n

- Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and CNC code.
- Experience with CNC machine setup and operation.
- Knowledge of CAM and post processors.
- Strong understanding of woodworking and millwork operations.
- Knowledge of lumber sizing, ripping, and cross-cutting.
- Experience with solid wood furniture manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read and create technical/fabrication drawings.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
