Position Overview
\n
The School Psychologist will partner with school teams to provide comprehensive psychological services that support student achievement and well-being. This role includes both in-person responsibilities and remote opportunities for meetings, report writing, consultations, and other approved duties.

Responsibilities

- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments.
- Interpret assessment results and prepare written evaluation reports.
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families.
- Develop evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral planning as needed.
- Collaborate with school personnel to promote positive learning environments.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines.

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Active Maryland School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Experience working with K–12 students preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, special education procedures, and evaluation practices.
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
