Senior Project Engineer - Food & Beverage

Job Description

Role Overview:

Metric Geo are working with a market leading engineering firm who are now seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to oversee engineering projects from planning through execution. You will manage project tasks, review designs, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification, primarily in food & beverage and industrial facility settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning, engineering design review, and daily project oversight.
• Evaluate field conditions and gather critical site information.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure project outcomes align with schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Continuously improve processes through feedback and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in facility engineering and project management (engineering, construction, or fabrication).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• PE and/or PMP certification highly preferred.
