Qualifications & Experience
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license in Kentucky
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Background in school-based SLP services
- Experience or strong interest in early elementary caseloads
- Skilled in conducting early childhood speech/language screenings
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs for students
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students across three schools
- Perform early screening assessments to identify students’ communication needs
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to support each child’s goals
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student support
