Job Description Own the order lifecycle from quote to delivery
Drive customer satisfaction by managing orders, coordinating delivery commitments, and supporting quotes in a highly regulated manufacturing setting. Partner closely with operations, supply chain, quality, and engineering to execute customer requirements with precision.
What you'll own
- Primary customer interface for assigned OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and government buyers—handling day-to-day questions and issue resolution.
- Order & contract stewardship: process POs and quotations in ERP; ensure alignment with contractual terms, pricing, and flow-down requirements.
- Schedule control: monitor backlog and delivery plans; surface and communicate changes to supply chain, production, and other stakeholders.
- Delivery performance: coordinate with planning and operations to hit on-time targets; proactively flag risks and delays.
- Critical expediting: support rush needs, including defense priority orders (DO/DX).
- Pricing & proposals: assist with RFQs, pricing reviews, and proposal development consistent with agreements, cost structures, and escalation clauses.
- Negotiation support: provide historical pricing, volume, and lead-time data.
- Relationship growth: build trust with key stakeholders; support account managers/business development on growth initiatives.
- Data integrity & reporting: maintain accurate customer/order records; produce reports on backlog, on-time delivery, and customer performance; support internal and customer business reviews.
How you'll collaborate
- Coordinate daily with operations and planning to align capacity and promise dates.
- Partner with supply chain on material availability and expedite actions.
- Engage quality and engineering to address technical questions within a regulated framework.
