Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: $150,000 + Bonus Structure

Description:
As they continue to expand their impact, our client is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with proven experience in family law to join their litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in the courtroom, understands the emotional weight of family law, and is ready to lead legal teams with clarity and care.

  • Serve as lead attorney on complex family law matters, including custody, divorce, alimony, equitable distribution, and domestic violence

  • Take full ownership of your caseload while directing and coordinating efforts among legal and administrative staff

  • Represent clients in court with confidence and competencetrial work is a regular and expected part of the role

  • Provide empathetic counsel while advocating assertively and ethically on behalf of clients

  • Mentor junior attorneys and staff, maintaining high professional standards and teamwork

  • Approach each case as more than just a fileunderstanding the human stories and long-term impact behind each legal issue

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing

  • Minimum of 35 years of successful experience as lead counsel in family law matters

  • Strong litigation and trial experience, particularly in Wake County and other North Carolina jurisdictions

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and case management skills

  • Emotionally intelligent and empathetic, with a sincere commitment to helping people
