Description of the role:
The Automotive Parts Counterman at Kansas City Hyundai is responsible for maintaining an efficient parts department by providing friendly customer service and managing the inventory of automotive parts. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that the right parts are available for service technicians and customers in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding the right automotive parts
- Manage inventory levels and reorder parts as needed
- Process parts orders and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service and answer inquiries
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an automotive parts department preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
