Apogee Solutions is seeking a Lead Readiness Reporting Data Analyst to support the United States Air Force’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Training and Readiness at the Pentagon. Qualified candidates must have a Secret clearance.
The Lead Readiness Reporting Data Analyst assist in the development of readiness analysis and supports readiness forecasting, messaging, and PPBE processes in the assessment off Air Force Readiness. The Training and Readiness Directorate is the Air Staff’s focal point to assist, orchestrate, and implement readiness analysis actions for current and future operations across the Air Force, to include weapons system sustainment, operational training infrastructure, critical skills personnel shortages, flying hour analysis, and deployment ratios.
The Lead Readiness Reporting Data Analyst will:
- Lead data gathering and analysis consistent with changing conditions, operational environments and strategy efforts to meet operational readiness requirements.
- Provide advanced knowledge and understanding of readiness reporting and the capability to address readiness reporting questions.
- Assist with the interpretations of AF, JS, OSD, and Congressional questions regarding readiness and deliver actionable studies and analysis products, results, conclusions, and insights.
- Provide in-depth analytic and evaluative skills in collection and dissemination of historical and current readiness information to provide data and responses to leadership.
- Provide knowledge of the Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool (ART) and Unit Type Codes (UTC) to assess available capabilities for global force management.
- Observe, analyze, and translate operational readiness challenges into analytic constructs for use in addressing long- term, recurring issues and in addressing time-critical, one-time issues.
- Demonstrate how local analysis can improve command readiness and better meet Air Force and DoD-mandated reporting criteria.
- Conduct analyses to define readiness problem statements and provide solutions that incorporate readiness data and corresponding investment decisions within the required amount of time as stated by government lead.
- Prepare and provide JFRR, Quarterly Readiness Report to Congress (QRRC) and Apportionment Table data as required to leadership.
- Assist in updating readiness reporting regulations to include collaborative efforts regarding Mission Essential Tasks (METs) and Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs).
- Represent the organization in meetings, an participate in steering groups, working groups, and seminars relating to readiness reporting.
Required Experience
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Masters Degree
- A minimum of 7 years of combined experience to include readiness analysis at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels as well as prior military staff experience
- Extensive knowledge of Air Force Operations to include 3 years of experience in supporting Air Staff or an equivalent strategic level
- At least 5 years of related experience in operational readiness reporting relevant to performance of business process definition and business process modeling and information system schemes
